hi this is my wiki
I enjoy playing tennis and guitar I have played guitar for a year and I am just about to start tennis and hopefully I am going play another year of guitar. We have a bach on Waiheke, we try to go there every weekend on our boat and our dog even has a lifejacket! One time we were on Waiheke and we were fishing off the rocks, when my Dad saw a red pattern moving in the water... but my Dad thought he was daydreaming but he wasn't! The fish decided to have a little snack and it went for my brothers line and after two seconds it went off with the bait.So my brother started reeling the line in...and finally we got the fish up to the rocks and it was a seven pounder! we were shocked and suprised. We kept on fishing for a while and I nearly caught some squid.week3I have just started tennis lessons,I have gone back to guitar lessons and I am improving lots. I am also doing touch rugby at College Rifles on friday and last week I scored a try of the game!the time tables for our activities after school are in this order.

sunday:free

  1. monday:guitar then rugby practice
  2. tuesday:tennis
  3. wednesday:brothers rugby practice
  4. thursday:rugby practice
  5. friday:swimming
  6. saturday;rugby game

E.O.T.C WEEKReflections:Day 1: We went to Orakei Marae and we learnt alot about the history of the Marae. The boys learnt the haka and the girls learnt a poi dance and then we presented our presentationsto each other and we had a great time. We are still wanting to go back there and learn some more about the marae.Day 2: We went to tree adventures and we had loads of fun and experience and I think everybody else would like to go back. I hope that everyone went on all four courses. I think the obstacles were very daring and the criss-cross bars were very difficult and the first time we went even my mum was scared! On our harnesses we had 2 carribenas and one pully. The carribenas were for clicking on the life lines and helping you get across and the pully was for getting down from the heights in the trees.Day 3: On wednesday we went to orienteering, at the Waiaturua reserve. It was a very hot day and it was very tiring. There were some mess ups on course 2 so this made our team late to finish. We had to go through on the missing controls on the course the second time we went. I think that everyone gained some knowledge about reading maps and that Orienteering is not so difficult as I first thought and I hope evryone had fun!

Day 4:On thursday we went to wave pools. We had a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed it. At the wave pools there was a HYDRO SLIDE! On the HYDRO SLIDE, when you went down the colours of the pipes were light blue, dark blue, dark black and then you finished the slide with a little tiny pool that you fell into at the end.

On Sunday I baked the chocolate courgette and coconut slice that we learnt to bake at garden to table a few weeks ago. It was really fun! We had to go the shops to buy some ingredients for the recipe like a large courgette, coconut thread and other ingredients. By the way I have got to go and check out my chocolate courgette and coconut slice in the oven...
Okay i'm back i just tried the chocolate courgette and coconut slice and it is beautiful

On Friday afternoon I helped fundraise for kids who have cancer. I played the guitar to help fundraise I think I did quite well but it was also a bit nerveracking at the time. But it was also cool playing the guitar infront of everyone. I felt good at the end of the day because I did a good deed.

EASTER HOLIDAYS:

In the holidays our friends from england came over and we had a great time when they came over on the first part but when we were resting on the weekend I got a bit of a tummy bug and it became really sore and it was painful so the next morning we went to ascot and they said I had to go to starship. I did not have a great time in starship and I could not sleep for a long long time. The next morning I went back home I still did not have a great day. My freinds were still there so they were a bit sad with out me so I wished I could get better and I did and ihad a great time with them. On the first part they came over we had a great time but after a few days they left to rotourougha to stay there while they were at rotourougha me and my brother and my mum to watch hop. After that they came back and then they went home to England.

On the weekend I went to the zoo.My favourite part of the zoo was the Sea Lions because they could swim across the whole swimming pool with one flap of it's tail.
My second favourite part of the zoo was the meerkat's because they like sitting up with there arms by there sides.
I loved going through the tunnels and finding the little domes and looking through them and looking at the Meerkats.
I also enjoyed the Lions because one of them kept on breathing out puffs of smoke like fog and it also kept on roaring, the noise was unbelieveable.

In the holidays I went to crystal moutain. I went on the bunjee and the train and I went horse riding I also got to hold some bunnys.I went on a rollercoaster that they had 14 times and after that i went to a place were you could pan crystals and I got a few after that we went home.We had an awesome time at crystal mountain.
I went to the movies and watched african cats and i really enjoyed it. i went with my freinds. It was kind of like a documetary but it was also a movie. My mum and myself enjoyed the photography and it was very emotional in parts.

In topic we have been learning about discovery and natural products. Each class is doing a product but it has to be natural for example we[room13] are doing natural stain removers. My teacher let us do awesome title page in our topic books. We also made QR codes for links to our website here is our QR code for our buisness:

We have just made our products and we tested them on the on the materials and they worked ourt really great. I am really excited about things in our class room and I am having a great time.We had to do lots of testing and discussing before we decided on our topics and ingredients. Then sadly our products started smelling disgusting. But we had a solution which was to add some natural smell or essence that smelt nice then we had our products done. We also had to display our products on a board. So we got to work and on this website we found 1001 fonts to choose from but we could only pick one sadly, but our group decided on star avenue and then our teacher helped us make a background and choose the colours.

Today we had a really hard day guess what we did, we started bottling our product and labelling them with our labels which is on our other wiki. Two people had to bottle the product and 2 people to create the lable which was really fun. After the bottling people had finished they had to go to another classroom to do a proccess chart of what they did through out the week and the term in there group. If you do not know what a proccess chart is then i will tell you. So what you do is you have some sort of shape or text box that you write in and then you write what you did in that period of time which is kind of like a diary. Some proccess charts have pictures beside them to show you what they did in physical movements also it could be like a recipe except your telling them what you did in past tense. That took a long time to complete cause we had done alot through the term.

In the weekend I we went to waiheke and went to our batch, while we were there me and my brother went down to my creek and did some eel fishing.Sadly we did not come out with any eels because they were too slimey. But we did find to eels mating together the male was huge!

Ma’a Nonu

DOB: 21.05.1982-29 years old
Current Team: All Blacks
Position: second –five- eighth

Statistics: Ma’a Nonu: His height is 1.82 m and his weight is 106kg.He is a powerful attacker, strong passer and runner. He is useful to the All Blacks because he has a great ability to set up tries. His coach Graham Henry describes Nonu as ‘probably the best linebreaker in the country’. He has played 59 matches for the All Blacks!

He went to Rongotai College. In 2007 he was selected for the Junior All Blacks. But then something happened that made him lucky because due to the injury of another player Ma’a Nonu was selected to go straight to the All Blacks! Then all his skills got recognised by Graham Henry while he was playing. So he had a fantastic rugby season playing with the All Blacks

Before he went to the All Blacks he played for Super 15, however before that he played for a club in Wellington. In his test matches he scored 95 test points. He is well-known for his explosive and powerful attacking runs and regularly breaks the defensive line at will. Nonu has a similar attacking style to former All Black centre Tana Umaga. Like Umaga, he is an exceptional ball runner who excels at breaking the line, creating space for outside backs.
